JÖRG’s range of long folding machines offers extensive capabilities for bending large sheet materials. Each long folding machine is built with efficiency and performance in mind. Our machines handle complex bending tasks with working lengths ranging from four to eight meters. With features such as inclined bending beams, programmable controls, and gripping systems, JÖRG’s long folding machines are ideal for a wide variety of bending operations.
Technical specifications and capabilities
JÖRG offers three types of long folding machines: the single bender, the double bender, and the double bender V2.5. These machines are produced by VARIOBEND, a German manufacturer. All models are capable of bending steel, aluminium, and stainless steel, with variable thicknesses depending on the model. Key features such as automatic crowning, inclined bending beams, and large opening heights make these machines suitable for nearly any industrial application.
Our long folding machines are equipped with intuitive touchscreen controls, including functions like finger-drawing, tapered profile bending, 3D graphic display, and automatic bending sequence calculations. Various options are also available, such as increased insertion depth, automatic sheet turning, and gripping systems.
Different models
The single bender is the entry-level model. It bends in only one direction via the lower beam. Despite its simplicity, this model offers high power and an angled bending beam, allowing complex profile shapes to be created with plenty of clearance. Tapered bending is also possible with this model.
The double bender offers greater speed and shape flexibility. Its advantages are especially evident when bending long, heavy sheets that require multiple bends in two directions. It is also equipped with automatic grippers, ensuring the sheet is always precisely positioned.
The V2.5 is the electric version of the double bender. It follows the same principle but without hydraulic components. As a result, this machine is fast, quiet, and highly modern in its operation.
